Frank Wallace’s concert “Of Love & Soul” indeed provides an “intimate connection” to the composer’s personal life with songs on poems by: his grandfather, about childhood and the wisdom of his own father in the 1890’s; solos inspired by the birth of his first son and the passing and passions of his father; and the videography of his second son; songs about place, aging, and fatherhood.
